Light, warm and soft, another garment to love.

This pattern is for a throw over tunic. It is a simple pattern, which may be used as a layer indoors, or a comfortable tank when you might not want the bulk of a heavy sleeve.

Due to the great way that you can join the Plötulopi strands as you knit, this garment is also fully reversible.

The tunic is knit in a combination of single strand Einband, and an additional strand of Plötulopi held with the Einband for the purl detail.

The pattern is knit horizontally, and you may use either straight pins, or a circular needle which you use back & forth, whichever you prefer.

The neckline is picked up and knit on circular needles (or DPN’s if you prefer), and the sides and shoulders are picked up and then cast off using a 3 Needle Bind-off – this gives you a strong and smooth bind-off, making it easy to wear whichever way you prefer.

Due to the way that Plötulopi may be easily joined to Einband by simply rubbing the yarns together, there should be no need to sew in any ends (just knit them in the following row if you have any). The pattern also allows you to use a variety of colour with ease.

It is an A4 pdf that we will email you after purchase.
